I can't believe how long it has been since I last posted. There have been several times when I've started something and then have been too tired to finish - if that tells you what our fall has been like! Often when people hear that I am the mom of four boys so close in age, they will comment, "I'll bet there's never a dull moment in your home" and it's true - there isn't...except I think I've decided I'm sort of a dull moment kinda gal! For instance, a few weeks ago we attempted to take a fall portrait of the boys with Paul's new camera. We decided to try a scenic spot next to the kids' school where there are a lot of trees that are beautiful in the fall. The only problem is that the school playground was right next to the area where we wanted to take the pictures. Unfortunately, Andrew immediately pointed it out to the others and Noah went nuts. I mean complete meltdown berzerk. To add to the pressure, the sun was getting low and we had very limited time to do the portrait. The first few shots Paul got are priceless and he was dying to send them out as our "official" portrait for our Christmas cards! If we had done so I think we would have definitely won the award for the most memorable card for the year! Here is a sample of one of those first shots! Luckily, Noah calmed down after a few minutes (and a few desperate bribes!) and we got some happy shots as well.
Okay, I'm starting to fade so I will end this post. My pre-New Years' Resolution is to post more regularly!

This is typical of children. When you want everything to go perfect, nothing does.
