Happy 4th of July!!!

Ok... So I'm finally joining the world of blogging. I've wanted to set this up for a while now - not just as a way to keep our friends and family updated on our daily adventures, but more for me as a diary that I can look back on and remember what actually happened in my life. With the constant activities of four very active boys so close together in age, many of my days become a blur. Not that I would trade a minute of it, but I do find myself often thinking, "now was that Jacob or Nicholas or ..." At least this way maybe I'll have some documentation!

We've had a wonderful 4th of July holiday. This is by far one of my favorite holidays each year. I love the summertime, the fireworks, the cookouts, etc. Last night we all went to Kaboom town in Addison and enjoyed the fantastic firework display. The past couple of years, we've gone to the top of the same parking garage in the area. They block the top floor off to cars so the kids can run around and play while we wait for fireworks to begin and not have to worry about cars or traffic. It's like having a built in cement fence! Noah went nuts! He loved having the freedom to run around without us yelling at him to instantly come back. Tonight, we went to the Plano fireworks with my dad. As we were leaving, Nicholas asked, "So where are we going to see fireworks tomorrow night?" Haha! If only everyday was the 4th of July...Wait isn't that a song or something?
